PuzzleKids app for Android and iPhone · Last updated: 28 October 2026

In short: PuzzleKids is a jigsaw puzzle game for children aged 2 to 8. There are no accounts, no chat and no sign-up. We never ask for a child's name, photos, contacts or location. Progress is saved only on the device. Ads, when shown, are marked as directed at children, so they are never personalised.

Who is responsible

PuzzleKids is published by Enli GmbH (brand: Puzzle Enterprise), Wellhauserweg 29, 8500 Frauenfeld, Switzerland. Questions about privacy: info@puzzle-enterprise.com.

What stays on the device

The app saves the child's progress on the device: stars, solved puzzles, the chosen level and picture, the date the app was first opened (for the free first day), the pictures unlocked today and whether the No Ads pass is active. This is not sent to us or anyone else. "Clear progress" in the app's Parent zone deletes it, and so does uninstalling the app. If the device's own backup is switched on (Google or iCloud backup), the device may include this data in your personal backup; we have no access to it.

App updates

When the app starts, it asks Expo's update service (650 Industries, Inc., USA) whether a newer version of the game is available. Like any internet request, this shows the device's IP address. The request also contains technical details only: the app version, the platform (Android or iOS) and a random number created by the app when it is installed. It contains nothing about the child and is used only to deliver the right update. Expo's privacy policy.

Ads

Without the No Ads pass, the app shows a short ad after some finished puzzles, never during a puzzle and never when the app opens. A grown-up can also choose to watch a video to unlock a picture for the day. The ads come from Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC). Every ad request is marked as directed at children, so Google shows only family-friendly ads, does not personalise them, does not use interest-based advertising or remarketing, and the app does not use the device's advertising ID.

To show ads, count them and prevent fraud, Google's ad software receives technical data such as the IP address (from which Google estimates the general location, for example the country), the device model, operating system, language and app version, which ads were shown or tapped, and diagnostics such as loading times. Google processes this data under its own rules: Google Privacy Policy, how Google uses data from apps that use its services. With the No Ads pass no ads are requested.

The No Ads pass

The No Ads pass is a monthly subscription bought through Google Play or Apple's App Store. The payment is handled entirely by Google or Apple; we never see payment details. The store tells the app on the device whether the pass is active. Google and Apple process purchase data under their own privacy policies. Purchases and links that leave the app are behind a parent check.

Permissions

The app does not ask for access to the camera, microphone, photos, contacts or location. On Android it uses the internet connection (updates, ads, the store) and vibration (a short buzz when a piece fits).

Children

PuzzleKids is made for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have received personal information about your child, write to us at the address above and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU, the Swiss Data Protection Act or COPPA in the USA), you have the right to ask what data about you or your child we hold, to have it corrected or deleted, and to complain to your data protection authority. Because the app keeps progress only on the device, we normally hold no personal data about you; you can still contact us at any time. For data held by Google or Apple, please use their privacy tools.

Changes

When the app changes how it handles data, we update this page and the date at the top.
